Natalie Loves Lanvin

I usually leave the trend spotting to fellow blogger Style Spy, but even I haven't missed the fact that Cannes juror Natalie Portman has worn Lanvin frocks for three of her trips down the red carpet.

Portman is good friends with Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz and it looks like he designs with her in mind. Since the beach is just steps from the red carpet, Cannes is the perfect place for colorful dresses and Natalie has gotten it right every time. Though I was waiting for her to arrive wearing another shade from the rainbow at the amfAR gala, Portman went for a pure white cut-out dress from Givenchy that was definitely fashion-forward.
