Adios Sienna!

Ok, so nobody did the Mexican hat dance, but several guests got into the Cinco De Mayo spirit by donning sombreros at a going away party for Sienna Miller at producer Holly Weirsma’s Spanish style hacienda. Weirsma, who has been friends with the beautiful Brit-- and even co-produced Factory Girl with her--for years, hosted the Mexican-themed fete with Tara Summers as a way to say "adios" to Sienna, who is heading back to the UK after having lived in the US while shooting the action flick, G.I. Joe, due out in 2009.

Tara Summers and guest of honor Sienna Miller

A gracious guest of honor, Sienna was the first to arrive, wearing a short black sequined Alice + Olivia dress and her signature fedora. She said that it is important to her to arrive before her guests so that they see a familiar face when they walk through the door. Now that’s what I call good party etiquette! Some of the first friends to arrive were Sienna's Factory Girl co-star, Jack Houston, Scott Speedman, and Emmanuelle Chriqui. The guest list also included Sienna's hot G.I. Joe co-star, Channing Tatum, who came with his equally gorgeous girlfriend, Jenna Dewan. While lounging around on Mexican blankets, we snacked on chips and guacamole and passed appetizers such as taquitos and brushetta. Then Tara and Holly came out with a huge cake from Hansen’s Cakes, featuring a frosting picture of Sienna in her full G.I. Joe gear. It was hilarious and yummy.

Among the last to arrive--around 2:00 am--were cute couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, who made a special effort to stop by so that they could send Sienna off with a big hug. By then I was ready for a little siesta of my own, so I said my good-bye to Sienna and headed down the hill.--Ali Forman
